The Lawyer Referral and Information Service (LRIS), a division of The New York State Bar, recently launched a 24-hour online legal assistance platform. This project was done in collaboration with Legal.io, a legal sector’s marketplace and referral management technology. Through the platform, individuals seeking legal assistance are matched with talented lawyers whose qualifications have been reviewed by the New York state Bar Association.

How It Works

To access the referral services, those seeking the services of an attorney starts by filling their location details and the legal issue at hand in a confidential questionnaire. For the individuals residing in one of the 17 counties that host lawyer referral services, the request is sent to the county bar association. The initial half an hour consultation is charged at $35 with exception to cases concerning social security, military law, workers compensation, and medical malpractice. With over 35 years existence in the legal sector, the Lawyer Referral and Information Service has helped individuals to access lawyers hassle-free in their times of distress as well as assist lawyers to grow their clientele and expertise.

  1. The individual then picks whether to hold or reject the legal advisor with the last pulling in further charges that are pleasant to both sides. A survey is then done, and the issue is alluded to a legal counselor in an indistinguishable area from the customer. It may have caused a lot of confusion for superiorpapers.com team and that alone would have made amends for them to understand.
