The New York State Bar Association’s Lawyer Referral and Information Service launched a new online program for those who are looking for a lawyer. The New York State Bar Association’s Lawyer Referral and Information Service made this service available 24 hours a day and completely confidential. However, New Yorkers still have the ability to use the LRIS telephone service. The Lawyer Referral and Information Service was created to make it easier for New York consumers and businesses to find legal help.

The New York State Bar Association developed this service with help from Legal.io, which offers services for those in the legal field. This new program allows lawyers to provide their services to more people, while also providing it at a much lower  cost. The New York State Bar Association has been working with New Yorkers for the last 30 years and is the largest state bar association in the U.S. The New York State Bar Association was launched in 1876.
